    Mr Simon Owen-Johnstone is a highly experienced Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon, specialising in shoulders, elbows, wrists, and hands. He began his medical career as a junior surgeon at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, where he decided to focus on orthopaedics. He trained on the prestigious Pott Rotation, which included Great Ormond Street and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, before completing a National Fellowship in Hand Surgery.

    In 2004, Mr Owen-Johnstone was appointed as a Consultant at the Royal London Hospital, where he specialised in upper limb trauma, particularly from London's Helicopter Emergency Medical Service. He later served as the Orthopaedic Lead Clinician at Barts before transitioning to private practice in 2011. His current practice addresses a wide range of issues from fingertips to collarbone, involving joints, skin, bone, muscle, tendon, and nerve.

    Mr Owen-Johnstone's areas of expertise include Dupuytren's contracture, carpal tunnel syndrome, rotator cuff repair, and shoulder arthroscopy. He is proficient in procedures such as trigger finger release, biceps tenodesis, and fracture surgery.
