Dr Mark Vanderpump is a highly esteemed consultant endocrinologist, currently practising privately at several clinics across London. He graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1987 and subsequently undertook specialised training in diabetes and endocrinology, gaining extensive experience through various training posts in the Midlands and North East England.
In 1996, Dr Vanderpump began his role as a consultant at the North Middlesex Hospital NHS Trust. His NHS career spanned two decades, culminating in a 17-year tenure at the Royal Free Hospital, which concluded in 2016.
Dr Vanderpump's primary area of expertise is thyroid disease, but his clinical practice encompasses all aspects of diabetes and endocrinology. He also engages in medico-legal work within his specialty. Currently, he serves as the Chair of the London Consultants’ Association.
