Dr Paul Glynne is a founding partner and Medical Director of The Physician's Clinic. He serves as a Consultant Physician at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH), where he previously held the position of Medical Director.
Dr Glynne earned his medical degree from University College London and completed his clinical training at UCLH and The Hammersmith Hospital. He specialises in General Medicine and Critical Care, with a particular focus on complex diagnostic work across all areas of general internal medicine. Dr Glynne is renowned for his ability to investigate unusual or unexplained symptoms, often supporting other doctors in and around Harley Street. He is known for his holistic approach, considering the entire patient and tackling difficult clinical problems from a fresh perspective, always putting the patient at the centre of his practice.
Dr Glynne has developed a special interest in post-COVID (Long COVID) and post-COVID vaccine syndromes. He leads the only Long COVID clinical research programme in the independent sector, frequently publishing and lecturing on his findings in this field.
In addition to his research, Dr Glynne heads The Physician's Clinic's team of acute care consultants, who are available to GPs and other consultants managing acutely ill patients. The Physician's Clinic facilitates acute medical admissions for private patients to The Princess Grace Hospital.
Dr Paul Glynne has been dedicated to his field since his appointment and continues to contribute significantly to medical research and patient care.
