Dr George Webster is a highly experienced consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist at University College London Hospitals (UCLH) and Royal Free London Hospitals. He specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of liver, biliary, pancreatic, and general gastroenterological conditions. Dr Webster has extensive training in gastroenterology, hepatology, and endoscopy, having undergone specialist training at renowned institutions such as the Royal Free, Barts and The London, and UCLH in London, as well as in Sydney.
Dr Webster is particularly known for his expertise in advanced endoscopy, which has earned him an international reputation in the field. He has held several prestigious positions in gastroenterology, including the chair of endoscopy and vice-president (endoscopy) for the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) from 2017 to 2019. He is also a member of the Council of the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE).
