Dr Marley graduated from the University of Oxford with a BSc in Medicine and Surgery. He then completed his postgraduate training at the Royal Free Hospital and the Hammersmith Hospital. During his training, he undertook a research degree focusing on the hemodynamic consequences of cirrhosis, which earned him a Ph.D.
In 2001, Dr Marley was appointed as a consultant at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, Australia. His areas of interest include the management of liver diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, and advanced endoscopic procedures.
