Professor Tony Kochhar is a consultant orthopaedic and trauma surgeon with over a decade of experience in shoulder, elbow, and upper limb surgery. He centres his practice around the early accurate diagnosis and prompt specialist treatment.
Professor Kochhar trained at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore and further honed his skills under world-renowned shoulder surgeons during fellowship training in New York and at the Alps Surgery Institute in France. Since qualifying, he has worked with elite sportspeople and developed a keen interest in sports science, strength, and conditioning.
Currently, Professor Kochhar is affiliated with HCA Healthcare UK, where he provides expert clinical guidance to ensure the best possible care for patients and the safe, efficient operation of the hospitals. His areas of expertise include arthroscopic surgery, rotator cuff repair, and joint replacement. He is particularly skilled in treating conditions such as shoulder impingement, tennis elbow, and complex fractures.
