Mr Laurence James is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with a distinguished career in the field of orthopaedics. In August 2022, he was appointed as the inaugural clinical lead for orthopaedics in Southeast London, overseeing services at Guy's and St Thomas', King's College, and Lewisham & Greenwich Hospitals. He also serves as an honorary lecturer in lower limb biomechanics at the Institute of Orthopaedics, University College London.
Mr James has a robust educational background, having qualified from University College London. He completed his postgraduate training at University College Hospital, London, and Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge. Further honing his expertise, he undertook specialist fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, London, and Southmead Hospital, Bristol.
