    Mr Peter Reilly is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with a specialist interest in shoulder and elbow conditions. He is based at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and sees private patients at King Edward VII’s Hospital in London. He qualified from St Mary’s Hospital Medical School (Imperial College) in 1994 and was appointed as a consultant in 2005.

    Mr Reilly’s expertise includes shoulder replacement, reverse shoulder arthroplasty, arthroscopic decompressionand rotator cuff repair. He also manages complex elbow problems and upper limb trauma, with a focus on degenerative joint issues, instability, fracturesand soft tissue injuries from sports or accidents.

    He completed advanced surgical training in North West Thames and undertook a fellowship in Oxford, where he refined his subspecialist skills. His academic work covers rotator cuff pathology and joint mechanicsand he has published extensively while also supervising postgraduate research students.

    Mr Reilly is actively involved in medical education, regularly teaching surgical trainees. He was awarded the British Elbow and Shoulder Society Travelling Fellowship in 2006 and continues to contribute to developments in orthopaedic practice.
