Dr James Pattison is a Consultant Nephrologist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and also works in private practice at London Bridge Hospital and Blackheath Hospital. He has been a full-time NHS nephrologist for 25 years, having been appointed as a Consultant Nephrologist in 1996.

Dr Pattison has a very busy clinical practice and is actively involved in research. He serves as the principal investigator in clinical trials studying new immunosuppressive agents used in kidney transplantation treatment.
