    Dr Efthimia Karra is a leading consultant endocrinologist with HCA Healthcare at The Princess Grace Hospital and The Harley Street Clinic. She also holds an NHS post at the Royal Free London Trust, where she serves as the clinical lead for the endocrine outpatients services transformation and redesign programme. Dr Karra offers a holistic approach to patients suffering from a variety of endocrinology issues, including diabetes, osteoporosis, and disorders of the pituitary, adrenal, and parathyroid glands.

    After qualifying with a medical degree, Dr Karra completed an extensive training programme across the North London Central Specialist Scheme in endocrinology. She became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2006. In 2011, she was awarded the prestigious Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Training Fellowship and conducted research in the field of obesity, gut hormone physiology, and metabolic medicine at the Academic Centre for Diabetes & Endocrinology of University College London. Her significant contributions to her field earned her a PhD.
