Dr Diana Holdright is a highly experienced consultant cardiologist with around 40 years in practice, currently based at a diagnostic centre in Marylebone, London. She provides comprehensive expertise across adult cardiology, including the management of ischaemic heart disease such as angina and heart attacks, coronary interventions like angioplasty and bypass surgery, valvular heart disease, heart failure, and heart rhythm disorders including atrial fibrillation. She also assesses and manages cardiovascular risk factors, and has a special clinical interest in autonomic dysfunction, including conditions like postural tachycardia syndrome (PoTS).

She played a pioneering role in establishing primary angioplasty as the first-line treatment for myocardial infarction and helped develop Heart Attack Centres across the capital and beyond. She also brings extensive experience from her time as a cardiologist at a leading neurological hospital, where she handled cases involving blackouts, dizzy spells, strokes of cardiac origin, and cardiac risk in neurological conditions such as epilepsy.

Her clinical services include diagnostic and monitoring procedures such as CT coronary angiograms, echocardiography, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, cardiac MRI, ECG Holter monitoring, standard ECGs, transoesophageal echocardiography, and consultations via video.

She diagnoses and treats a wide spectrum of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, hypertension, high cholesterol, palpitations, syncope, cardiomyopathy, heart murmurs, valvular disease, heart failure, chest pain, acute coronary syndromes, angina, heart attack, and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
