    Ms Ashwini Joshi is a Consultant Paediatric Urologist based in London. She specialises in the treatment of hypospadias, hernias, neurogenic bladder, undescended testes, and upper and lower urinary tract anomalies.

    Ms Joshi completed her general and paediatric surgery training in India before moving to the UK. She further honed her skills in London, Bristol, Cardiff, and Birmingham, earning her Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Paediatric Surgery. She was awarded a Fellowship in Paediatric Urology at the renowned Birmingham Children’s Hospital. In 2010, she took up her consultancy post at The Royal London Hospital, part of Barts Health NHS Trust.

    Currently, Ms Joshi serves as the Clinical Lead for Paediatric Surgery and the Network Lead for Strategy for Children's Surgery at Barts Health. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Surgeons and a member of the British Association of Paediatric Surgeons and the European Society for Paediatric Urology.

    Ms Joshi's areas of expertise include hernia surgery, hydrocele surgery, hypospadias repair, undescended testicle repair surgery, and operations on the urinary tract for obstruction and vesico-ureteric reflux. She is also proficient in treating urinary incontinence, performing cystoscopies, and managing umbilical hernias. Her extensive experience covers general surgery of childhood and neonatal surgery.
