About Dr Ahmed Massoud

Dr Ahmed Massoud is a consultant paediatrician and endocrinologist based in London, working both within the NHS and the private sector at Northwick Park Hospital. He has been serving in this role since his appointment in 2005. Dr Massoud's areas of expertise include general paediatrics, growth disorders, thyroid disorders, pubertal problems, and childhood diabetes.
Dr Massoud graduated from University College London and underwent extensive training in general paediatrics. He completed his sub-speciality training in paediatric endocrinology and diabetes at The Middlesex and Great Ormond Street Hospitals. Additionally, he has postgraduate general professional training in general paediatrics from several London teaching hospitals and has served as a clinical research fellow in paediatric endocrinology at The Middlesex Hospital.
In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr Massoud is an honorary senior lecturer in child health at Imperial College School of Medicine. He has contributed significantly to the field of paediatric endocrinology through various publications, including chapters and articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is also the immediate past chairman of the RCPCH Speciality Advisory Committee for Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes.
