    Mr Gregory Firth is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based at the Children's Orthopaedic practice at The Portland Hospital. He collaborates with esteemed orthopaedic surgeons Miss Sarah McMahon and Mr Jonathan Wright. With over a decade of experience, Mr Firth specialises in the treatment and management of paediatric orthopaedic issues, including elective pathologies and trauma-related injuries in children.

    Mr Firth obtained his primary medical qualification in 2008 from the University of Witwatersrand. He then completed a year of training at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital in South Africa, focusing on paediatric orthopaedics. Following this, he pursued two graduate fellowships. The first was at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario, and the second at the renowned Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne under the mentorship of Professor Kerr Graham. During his fellowship in Melbourne, Mr Firth gained significant expertise in managing paediatric cerebral palsy cases, utilising advanced 3D Gait Analysis technology.

    After completing his fellowships, Mr Firth returned to Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital before relocating to the UK. Since his appointment at The Portland Hospital, he has been dedicated to providing exceptional care to his young patients. His areas of expertise include paediatric trauma, elective orthopaedic surgery, and the management of complex conditions such as cerebral palsy.

    Mr Firth is committed to advancing paediatric orthopaedic care and continually updates his skills and knowledge to incorporate the latest medical advancements.
