    Dr Peter Harper is a distinguished consultant at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital, where he has been serving for over 25 years. He trained at University College and University College Hospital, earning his MB BS in 1970. Dr Harper is both an accredited physician and a medical oncologist, and he is one of the four founding partners of the London Oncology Clinic. His vision for the clinic was to create a dedicated cancer treatment centre that offers the highest international standards of care in a state-of-the-art, supportive environment, providing comprehensive support for patients and their families.

    Dr Harper is globally recognised for his contributions to cancer research, particularly in the development of new drugs and improved cancer treatments. He has authored over 400 papers and chapters in peer-reviewed publications. His expertise has led him to chair and participate in numerous international executive committees focused on innovative cancer treatments. He is also a member of eight pharmaceutical company advisory boards and sixteen professional bodies worldwide, including a committee of the American Society of Clinical Oncologists (ASCO).

    In 2002, Dr Harper was awarded the prestigious Cino del Duca Medal for his work in developing new anti-cancer and vaccine therapies. In recognition of his advisory role to the French Government on strategic cancer care, he was appointed a Chevalier of the Legion D'Honneur, a rare honour for a foreign national. He continues to serve on the board of INCA, the strategic committee for cancer treatment in France, and is currently the Chairman of the Toulouse Cancer Centre, where he holds the Medaille D'Or of the city.
