Dr Nihal Shah is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist currently working at private practices with HCA Healthcare. Additionally, he holds an NHS post at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre and the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust hospitals. He has also been appointed as the Assistant Clinical Director at the Cancer Centre. Dr Shah has a special interest in breast cancer and is also focused on the management of lung cancer, as well as head and neck cancers. He offers a holistic approach to treatment, providing a variety of options including chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Dr Shah completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery studies at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School. In 1994, he completed a Fellowship of The Royal College of Surgeons, and in 1997, he completed a Fellowship of The Royal College of Radiologists. He attained a Doctor of Medicine in London in 2001.

Dr Shah is a member of the Radiosurgery Society and is actively involved in clinical trials. He advises pharmaceutical companies on cancer strategies and investigates multiple local studies. Additionally, he serves as an advisor to the Health Care Commission, utilising his expert knowledge.

Dr Shah's areas of expertise include cancer prevention and screening, mammoplasty, breast pain management, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy. He treats conditions such as breast cancer, head and neck cancers, lung cancer, and primary cancers of unknown origin.

Dr Shah has been dedicated to his field since his appointment and continues to contribute significantly to cancer treatment and research.
