Mr Matt Lechner is a distinguished consultant rhinologist and ENT surgeon, specialising in a spectrum of nasal and sinus issues such as nasal blockage, rhinitis, sinusitis, smell loss, snoring, sleep apnea, and rhinoplasty surgery. He currently practices at HCA UK in The Shard and The London Independent Hospital.
Mr Lechner's comprehensive training in Ear, Nose & Throat surgery took place at prominent medical institutions in London, including University College London Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust, Great Ormond Street Hospital, and The Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital. He further honed his skills through a surgical Fellowship in Rhinology and Advanced Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery at Stanford University, equipping him with expertise in advanced endoscopic sinus surgery and nasal procedures.
In addition to his surgical commitments, Mr Lechner actively participates in various clinical working groups, notably the Clinical Olfactory Working Group, which focuses on olfactory (smell) disorders, including those associated with Covid-19. His eminence was acknowledged through the prestigious Hunterian Professorship bestowed upon him by the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2020.
