    Mr James Crosbie is a highly esteemed Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at University College London Hospital, where he has been serving since 2009. He specialises in colorectal and anal cancer, endoscopy, and advanced proctology. His clinical practice includes treating conditions such as recurrent anal fistula, fissures, haemorrhoids, and abdominal wall hernia.

    Mr Crosbie's expertise extends to pioneering new anorectal techniques and operations, including secca for incontinence, artificial bowel sphincter, and abdominal wall reconstruction for recurrent incisional hernia. He is the Surgical Lead for Anal Cancer at University College London Hospital and runs a specialist clinic for the management of Anal Intra-epithelial neoplasia.

    In addition to his clinical duties, Mr Crosbie is actively involved in teaching, research, and clinical trials. He has been instrumental in introducing a new undergraduate curriculum at UCL and has received top teacher awards. His current research focuses on the role of stem cells in anal sphincter reconstruction and the use of microspheres for treating anal fistula.
