    Prof. Dimitrios Paraskevopoulos is a Consultant Neurosurgeon working at multiple HCA UK-owned facilities, with NHS bases at Barts Health NHS Trust, St. Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Hospital. He is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Blizard Institute, Queen Mary, University of London. He is the Lead for Skull base surgery and the Lead for Neuro-oncology at Barts Health.

    His sub-specialist interests include brain tumours, skull base surgery (anterior and lateral), acoustic neuromas, meningiomas, stereotactic radiosurgery (Gamma knife), head injury and adult spine surgery. He has a particular interest in endoscopy and minimally invasive surgery.

    He graduated from the Aristotle University Medical School of Thessaloniki and completed a higher degree Doctorate of Medicine at the Ruprecht-Karls University of Heidelberg after experimental research in Neuronavigation. He also graduated with a Master of Science (MSc) in Health Information Management from the University of Heidelberg.

    Prof. Paraskevopoulos treats a variety of conditions including brain tumours, acoustic neuromas, and head injuries. He is skilled in procedures such as endoscopic pituitary surgery, Gamma knife radiosurgery, and minimally invasive spine surgery.
