    Mr Charles Gibbons is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with over two decades of experience in orthopaedic surgery. He specialises in arthroscopic knee surgery, partial knee replacement (Oxford medial and lateral knee), sports injuries, and degenerative hip and knee conditions. Mr Gibbons practices privately at The Lister Hospital in London and The New Victoria Hospital in Kingston upon Thames.

    Mr Gibbons qualified in medicine at The London Hospital Medical College in 1989. He undertook basic surgical training in Bath, Chelmsford, and Stanmore. He was a specialist orthopaedic registrar on The Chelsea and Westminster rotation, working in the home counties and London. He completed a prestigious knee fellowship under John Barlett at The Austin and Repatriation Hospital in Melbourne and a further fellowship with Michael Sandow at The Royal Adelaide Hospital in 2000. After completing his fellowship year in 2001, he worked as a senior registrar at The Middlesex and UCH. He was appointed as a consultant at The Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in 2002. He served as clinical lead for orthopaedics from 2012 to 2015 and is a trainer for specialist registrars and fellows.

    Mr Gibbons is also an accomplished researcher, having published various peer-reviewed papers on knee arthroscopy and other topics within orthopaedic surgery.
