    Mr Arun Sahai, PhD, FRCS (Urol), BSc (Hons.), is a distinguished Consultant Urological Surgeon specialising in functional urology, including bladder dysfunction, incontinence, uro-neurology, and urinary tract reconstruction. He is based at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals NHS Trust and also serves as a Reader in Urology at King’s College London. Arun has been a consultant at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust since 2013 and joined London Bridge Hospital in 2014.

    Arun completed his medical education at the United Medical & Dental Schools of Guy’s and St Thomas’ and underwent urology training on the South Thames Rotation through the London Deanery. His senior training years were spent at Guy’s Hospital, followed by a visiting fellowship with Professor De Ridder at UZ Leuven Hospital in Belgium.

    Arun is actively involved in research, focusing on benign bladder dysfunction. He has published over 90 peer-reviewed international papers and more than 15 book chapters. He leads undergraduate education in urology at King’s College London and contributes significantly to postgraduate education, including exam setting for the FRCS (Urol) and serving as invited faculty at numerous conferences. He is a member of several prestigious organisations, including the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) and the European Association of Urology.

    His clinical expertise includes male slings, artificial urinary sphincter surgery, colposuspension, sacral neuromodulation, and urethral diverticulum surgery.
