Mr Andrew Ballaro is a senior Consultant Urological Surgeon providing a comprehensive urological service in North London and Essex. He is highly experienced in all general urological problems and has a major subspecialist surgical interest in surgery for kidney stones and the enlarged prostate.
Mr Ballaro has been a full-time NHS and Private Consultant for over 10 years and is the leading specialist for kidney stone surgery at his large London NHS Trust. He consistently publishes some of the best surgical outcomes for complex stone removal operations nationally and provides a high-quality comprehensive stone service. He also specialises in prostate disease and offers a choice of procedures for benign prostatic enlargement (BPE) tailored to the patient's requirements including TURP, laser prostatectomy (HOLEP) for large prostates, and minimally invasive REZUM steam therapy. He is also an expert in MRI-fusion template prostate biopsy for raised PSA and prostate cancer diagnosis.
