Dr Alessandra Frigiola is a Consultant Cardiologist at the Harley Street Clinic, London Bridge Hospital, and St Thomas' Hospital. She completed her training in general medicine and qualified as an adult cardiologist at the University of Verona, Italy, in 2001. Dr Frigiola has since developed extensive expertise in adult congenital heart diseases, having trained at the Heart Hospital (University College London Hospitals), the Brompton Hospital, and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.

Her main areas of interest include exercise physiology in congenital heart disease and multi-modality imaging. She is highly skilled in cardiac MRI (level III SCMR accredited, level III EACVI ACHD CMR imaging accredited), cardiac CT, and echocardiography.

In 2012, Dr Frigiola was awarded an MDres from University College London. Since 2017, she has also been serving as a Senior Clinical Lecturer at Kings College London. She is currently the adult congenital heart disease lead for research at one of the largest UK centres for cardiovascular diseases. Dr Frigiola is actively involved in numerous research projects and has a strong track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals, along with numerous national and international presentations. Her achievements and contributions to the medical profession have been recognised with a Fellowship by the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP).
