Mr Sudhanshu Chitale is a highly regarded consultant urological surgeon with over 25 years of extensive urological and surgical experience. He is currently based at the Whittington Health NHS Trust in London and also serves as an honorary senior lecturer at University College London Medical School. Mr Chitale has undergone comprehensive training in all subspecialties of urology, both in India and the UK. Over the years, he has performed more than 20,000 urological surgical procedures.

Mr Chitale's expertise spans a wide range of operative procedures, from cystoscopies to cystectomies. His primary areas of specialisation include surgeries involving the lower urinary tract, such as bladder, penile, prostatic, and urethral surgery. He is proficient in procedures for hydrocele, phimosis, epididymal lesions, urethral surgery, varicoceles, testicular tumours, male infertility, sperm retrieval, vasectomy, and reversal of vasectomy.

Additionally, he performs endoscopic prostatic and bladder tumour resections, surgery for Peyronie's disease and congenital penile deformities, and endoscopic treatment for urinary stones. Mr Chitale is also skilled in paediatric urological procedures, including orchidopexy for undescended testis, circumcision, and hydrocelectomy for patent processus vaginalis.

Mr Chitale has made significant contributions to the field of urology through his extensive research, with over 80 publications to his name. He frequently presents his work at national and international conferences. Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards in recognition of his outstanding academic achievements.

Outside of his professional life, Mr Chitale enjoys playing badminton and has represented his university in India. He also enjoys swimming, attending the theatre, and travelling abroad.
