Mr Sinan Barazi is a Consultant Neurosurgeon at the London Neurosurgery Partnership, part of HCA Healthcare UK. He has a wealth of experience and expertise in facial pain, endoscopic pituitary and anterior skull base surgery, lateral skull base surgery, and spinal disorders, including back pain, neck pain, sciatica, arm pain, and degenerative spine conditions.
Mr Barazi was born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark. He qualified from King’s College Hospital School of Medicine in London in 1996. Before embarking on his surgical career, he served with the 14th Parachute Regiment in Toulouse, France. In 2002, he achieved Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons and began his neurosurgery training in London. His training included positions at King’s College Hospital, Atkinson Morley’s Hospital, St George’s Hospital, and Hurstwood Park Neurological Centre.
In 2009, Mr Barazi completed the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (Neurosurgery). He further honed his skills with a fellowship in endoscopic pituitary surgery in Bologna under Dr Giorgio Frank. He also trained under Dr Andrew King and Scott Rutherford in Manchester as a Neurosurgical Skull Base Fellow. In 2010, he was appointed as a Consultant Neurosurgeon at King’s College Hospital.
Mr Barazi is highly regarded in his field and frequently lectures both nationally and internationally on various neurosurgical topics, including facial pain treatment, endoscopic pituitary and anterior skull base surgery, and spinal surgery. His dedication to advancing neurosurgical techniques and improving patient outcomes is evident in his ongoing commitment to education and clinical excellence.
