Mr Shahab Siddiqi is a distinguished Consultant General Surgeon at Broomfield Hospital, where he leads the Pelvic Floor Surgery and Surgical Site Infections department. He has been instrumental in introducing advanced robotic surgery using the da Vinci robot for pelvic floor conditions and colorectal cancer. His expertise extends to innovative therapies for faecal incontinence and constipation.

Mr Siddiqi holds an Honorary Senior Lecturer position at Anglia Ruskin University, contributing to surgical research on colorectal cancer and surgical infections. He is a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Robotic Surgery and regularly peer-reviews for the British Medical Journal Case Reports.

His educational background includes an MB BS from the University of London, obtained in 1993.
