Dr Rajdeep Khattar is a highly qualified consultant cardiologist at the Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust. He completed his medical degree at the University of Southampton Medical School, followed by specialist training in cardiology in North West London. His training included three years of clinical research in cardiovascular imaging, ischaemic heart disease, hypertension, and heart failure.

Dr Khattar has extensive expertise in advanced echocardiography and percutaneous coronary intervention. He is also an honorary clinical senior lecturer at the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London, where he contributes to the education and training of future cardiologists.

Since joining the Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust from the Manchester Heart Centre, Dr Khattar has been dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. His areas of interest include stress and contrast echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography, 3D echocardiography, coronary angioplasty, stent implantation, and intravascular ultrasound.

Dr Khattar treats a wide range of conditions, including coronary artery disease, valvular disease, and heart failure. He is committed to using the latest medical technologies and techniques to improve patient outcomes and ensure the highest standards of care.

Appointed in 2023, Dr Khattar continues to play a vital role in both clinical practice and medical education, making significant contributions to the field of cardiology.
