    Mr Pramod Achan is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, specialising in hip and knee surgery. He is currently based at The Princess Grace Hospital in London. Mr Achan has a particular interest in joint replacements, sports injuries, and arthroscopy. He qualified from the University of London in 1993 and completed his Fellowship in Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1998.

    Mr Achan has extensive experience in trauma and arthroplasty, having completed fellowships at the Hospital for Joint Diseases NYU and on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. He served as Clinical Director for the Barts Health NHS Trust before his current role. His expertise includes hip and knee arthroscopy, minimally invasive surgery, and revision surgeries for both hip and knee replacements.

    In addition to his clinical work, Mr Achan is passionate about education and has directed numerous orthopaedic training programmes. He has been recognised as one of the ‘Best of British’ surgeons and has represented British Orthopaedics internationally. His interests also include writing articles and lecturing at prestigious institutions such as Harvard and Stanford.
