Professor Pradeep Bhandari is a leading gastroenterologist based in the UK and currently serves as the Vice President of the British Society of Gastroenterology. He has pioneered the introduction of innovative endoscopic techniques into UK clinical practice, such as the use of acetic acid for the early detection of Barrett’s cancer. He is also noted for advanced procedures like endoscopic mucosal resection and endoscopic submucosal dissection, which are used to remove early-stage cancers and large polyps.

Prof. Bhandari specialises in managing a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including early cancers, Barrett's oesophagus, acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome, dyspepsia, peptic ulcers, rectal bleeding, and obesity. He is an expert in advanced endoscopic procedures, focusing on early cancer diagnosis, endoscopic resections, and minimally invasive techniques to treat swallowing problems.
