    Mr Paul Jairaj is an internationally trained orthopaedic surgeon currently based at London Bridge Hospital, HCA at the Shard, 31 Old Broad Street in the City, the Docklands, and Chelsea. His areas of specialty include hip arthroscopy, knee arthroscopy, knee replacement, hip replacement, patient-specific customised/3D planned joint replacements, meniscus repair, and anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction.

    Mr Jairaj qualified in medicine with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees from Birmingham University in 1991. He holds a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (1996) and a Fellowship of Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England (2002). His surgical training was completed on the prestigious Imperial College Scheme, where he obtained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS Eng) qualification.

    In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Jairaj is one of the UK's first surgeons to pioneer the use of 3D planned patient-specific prostheses for hip and knee replacements, which are customised to the individual. He is also actively involved in research and offers courses to GPs. His personal interests include tennis, skiing, and golf.

    Mr Jairaj treats a variety of conditions, including arthritis (hip and knee), avascular necrosis (AVN) hip, hip and groin pain, hip dysplasia, hip impingement, labral tear, knee cyst, knee pain, patella (kneecap) dislocation, posterolateral corner injury, torn meniscus (cartilage), and more. He performs procedures such as femoroacetabular surgery, labral tear reconstruction, cartilage repair surgery, CAM and pincer osteoplasty, custom-made hip and knee replacements, and various ligament reconstructions.
