    Dr Patrick Gordon is a Consultant Rheumatologist at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and also practices privately with HCA Healthcare at London Bridge Hospital. He was honoured with the King's College Hospital 2018 Patient Choice Star, reflecting his dedication to patient care.

    Dr Gordon earned his Medical Degree from King's College in 1991 and completed his specialist training in rheumatology in south London. He further advanced his expertise by completing a PhD at the Lupus Unit at St. Thomas' Hospital. In 2004, he was appointed as a Consultant at King's College Hospital, where he established the Connective Tissue Disease Service. This service has grown into a National Specialised NHS England Centre, serving over 1,000 patients with various connective tissue disorders.

    As an honorary senior lecturer, Dr Gordon's research is clinically oriented, focusing on lupus and myositis, and includes a robust clinical trials programme. He supervises junior doctors pursuing their PhD and MD studies and has an impressive publication record with over 70 papers and four medical textbook chapters. He is an active member of the British Medical Association, the British Society for Rheumatology, and the International Myositis Assessment and Clinical Studies Group.
