Mr Olaseni Subair is an esteemed obstetrics consultant based at University College London Hospitals (UCLH). He also provides care at The Portland Hospital, where he serves as the maternity services lead obstetrician, and at The Harley Street Centre for Women. Mr Subair specialises in pregnancy and labour care, treating both high-risk and low-risk pregnancy patients. He is actively involved in medical leadership within obstetrics and clinical governance.

Mr Subair has a particular interest in managing complicated pregnancies and regularly offers training to midwives and doctors on handling emergencies in maternity services. He is also keenly interested in psychological disorders during pregnancy.

Throughout his career, Mr Subair has held several key roles at UCLH, including labour ward lead obstetrician, obstetrics risk lead, and maternity guidelines lead. He is currently a member of the high-risk pregnancy multi-disciplinary team, collaborating closely with midwives, haematologists, and cardiologists. Additionally, he runs a specialist clinic for women who have previously undergone a caesarean section. Mr Subair is a strong advocate for maternal choice, supporting both water births and elective caesarean sections following appropriate counselling.

Mr Subair earned his MB BS from the University of Ibadan in 1998 and subsequently completed his postgraduate training in London. He is a member of the British Intrapartum Care Society (BICS) and the British Maternal and Fetal Medicine Society (BMFMS).
