Dr Murtuza Khan is a highly esteemed Consultant Paediatrician at the Northwest London Hospitals NHS Trust and an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Paediatrics at Imperial College London. In 1999, he achieved dual certification (CCST) in general paediatrics and paediatric respiratory medicine.

Dr Khan is the clinical lead for paediatric allergy, eczema, and respiratory services at Northwick Park Hospital, where he also serves as the deputy clinical director. His areas of expertise include the management of asthma, eczema, food and other allergies, recurrent infections, and general paediatric conditions. He is proficient in conducting various medical tests and treatments such as lung function tests, skin prick tests, allergy testing, ECG, electrocardiograms, and food provocation advice.

In addition to his clinical roles, Dr Khan is actively involved in research and has contributed significantly to the field of paediatrics. His work is regularly presented at international conferences, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, European Respiratory Society, and American Thoracic Society. He has also spent nearly three years in Saudi Arabia, where he played a crucial role in developing paediatric services in hospitals in Jeddah.

Dr Khan is currently a panel member on the National Review of Asthma Deaths (NRAD), a body established by the Department of Health to review all asthma-related deaths in children in the United Kingdom. His dedication to improving paediatric care and his extensive experience make him a valuable asset to both his patients and the medical community.
