About Mr Kelvin Ramsey

Mr Kelvin Ramsey is a substantive Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. He is a trained microsurgeon, regularly performing complex reconstructions for a wide range of tumor types. His special interests are in breast reconstruction, abdominal/perineal reconstruction and supermicrosurgery for lymphoedema.
After graduating from Cambridge University in 1998, Mr Ramsey completed his basic training in general surgery and his specialist training in plastic surgery. At the end of his training, he undertook specialist fellowships in breast reconstruction at Georgetown Hospital, Washington DC and in microsurgery at Charing Cross Hospital, London and in Melbourne, Australia.
At the forefront of his discipline, Mr Ramsey is actively involved in research, in particular in the field of lymphatic-venous anastomosis surgery for lymphoedema. He has lectured extensively and is a well-published author. He is a member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Association of Aesthetic Surgeons (BAAPS).
