Dr Joseph Tomson is a Consultant Cardiologist at the Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead, London. He has a keen interest in cardiac rhythm management and the implantation of cardiac devices, including pacemakers, defibrillators, and resynchronisation therapy. Dr Tomson also specialises in treating conditions such as palpitations, dizziness, syncope, and cardiac dysfunction.
Dr Tomson qualified with an MBBS in 1999 and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP, London) in 2004. He completed his higher specialist training in Cardiology (CCT Cardiology, UK) in 2015 and undertook cardiovascular research at the Clinical Trials and Statistics Service Unit (CTSU) at the University of Oxford, where he completed his MD in 2016.
