    Mr Gordon Buchanan is a Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon with extensive experience in his field. He graduated from St Thomas’ Hospital, London, and completed his colorectal and general surgical training in the UK. Additionally, he received advanced colorectal training at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto.

    Mr Buchanan specialises in a wide variety of colorectal and general surgical procedures. He is proficient in laparoscopic appendicectomy, laparoscopic repair of inguinal, ventral, and incisional hernias, as well as numerous other colorectal and general surgeries.

    During his additional laparoscopic colorectal training fellowships in Colchester and Yeovil, Mr Buchanan gained expertise in laparoscopic appendicectomy, day case laparoscopic cholecystectomy, and both benign and malignant laparoscopic colorectal resection. He has also conducted research at St. Mark's Hospital and Imperial College, London, and has published papers on various aspects of colorectal surgery, particularly focusing on the investigation of anorectal conditions and fistula-in-ano. Currently, he is involved in collaborative research on laparoscopic resection of colorectal cancer.
