Dr Francis Matthey is a highly experienced consultant haematologist at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, having joined the team in 2006. He has been a dedicated consultant in the NHS for over 30 years, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role. Dr Matthey is also an active member of the North West London Haemato-Oncology Tumour Working Group and maintains close clinical links with Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (Hammersmith Hospital).

Dr Matthey began his medical training in general medicine at St Bartholomew’s Hospital and University College Hospital in London. He then specialised in haematology at the Royal Free Hospital and the Middlesex Hospital. In 1990, he was appointed as a consultant haematologist to the Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (East Surrey Hospital), where he served until his move to Chelsea & Westminster Hospital.
