    Mr Feilim Murphy is the lead Consultant Paediatric Urologist at St George’s Hospital in South London, where he has been serving since 2008. He is also the Caregroup Lead for Paediatric Surgery. His NHS practice is based at St George’s, and he works closely with a dedicated multi-disciplinary team to provide world-class care for children. The team's motto is to improve the outcome for every single child.

    Mr Murphy's clinical practice is defined by his use of minimally invasive urological surgery. He has a special interest in conditions such as undescended testis, wetting disorders, and incontinence in children with special needs. He has authored the BAPU document outlining standards of care for undescended testes and megaureters.

    His medical training includes experience in Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. He completed his paediatric surgical training in Dublin and was awarded a fellowship in paediatric surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Before joining St George's, he worked as a Consultant Paediatric Urologist at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.

    Mr Murphy is a member of numerous international paediatric surgery and urology organisations and regularly reviews for prestigious journals. He has published extensively and is the research lead for paediatric surgery and urology at St George’s. He is frequently invited to speak worldwide on key issues in paediatric urology and future improvements in the field.

    His areas of expertise include bladder reconstruction surgery, neuropathic bladders, hypospadias surgery, antenatal counselling, peri-natal urology, and the management of spina bifida and paediatric enuresis.
