    Frequently asked questions

  • What are the common symptoms that your patients tend to present with?

I predominantly treat lower limb injuries or the hip, knee, foot & ankle. These can be due to overload/overuse or a specific injury or trauma. I commonly treat a lot of post-surgical knee and ankle patients including ligament reconstruction. I also treat women with pelvic and low back during and post-pregnancy.

  • What are the treatments that you're able to offer your patients?

A lot of my treatment is focused around exercise based rehab. I also use manual therapy, acupuncture and taping for pain relief but this is always an adjunct to help people return to exercise. Movement and strengthening is key!

  • What are your areas of sub-specialist interest?

From a clinical point of view ACL rehab especially with regard to return to sport and postnatal return to sport/exercise. My sporting areas of interest include running, CrossFit, basketball, netball, and boxing. Having participated in all of them at some point myself helps me have a good understanding of what is required when formulating rehab for patients.
