    As a consultant neurologist, Dr Dominic Mort runs general neurology clinics every week at Spire Bushey and Spire Harpenden Hospitals, where he sees patients with all kinds of neurological symptoms and conditions, including dizziness, blackouts, tingling and numbness, headache, migraine, seizures, stroke, dementia and Parkinson's disease. He has extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of adult neurological conditions.

    Dr Mort qualified as a doctor with honours in 1993, having studied medicine at Oxford University and the Medical College of St Bartholomew's Hospital. At Bart's, he was awarded (jointly) the CC Frears in Clinical Neurology and spent his elective period in the Department of Neurology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, USA. His clinical neurology specialist training took place at four neuroscience centres in London, including The National Hospital, Queen Square. He was appointed consultant at Chase Farm Hospital and The Royal Free Hospital in 2007. In 2013, he moved into private practice full-time.

    Dr Mort has a strong interest in medical teaching and has received a number of awards for lecture and ward-based teaching to students and doctors over the years.
