Dr Debi Ray (MBBS, MRCPCH) is a Consultant Paediatrician in the London Borough of Waltham Forest (including Chingford, Woodford Green, Walthamstow and Higham’s Park). Her specialist training is in general paediatrics and her sub-speciality is community child health. She runs private clinics at Spire Hartswood Hospital, Spire Roding Hospital, the Holly House Hospital and the Nuffield Brentwood hospital in addition to an NHS practice. She treats all types of general paediatric conditions in the age group of 0-18yrs, paying special interest to the treatment of developmental problems, behavioural difficulties, autism and communication disorders. She has special interest in general health concerns, behaviour problems, child development, disability, funny turns, gastroenterology (constipation, reflux, and abdominal pain), growth concerns, headaches, learning disabilities, learning difficulties, recurrent infections and urinary infections.
After graduating in medicine from St Bartholomew's Medical College, London, in 1998, Dr Ray completed further medical training in London and the Home Counties, with posts at Great Ormond Street and King’s College Hospital. She is a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, the British Society for the Study and Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect, the British Academy of Childhood Disability, the British Association of Community Child Health and British Medical Association.
