About Mr David Floyd

Mr David Floyd is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon and Honorary Senior Lecturer at The Royal Free and University College Hospitals in London. He also sees patients privately at The Harley Street Clinic and The Wellington Hospital. Mr Floyd's specialist interests include complex soft tissue reconstruction, particularly for the breast, abdomen, hand, and lower limb. He is a full member of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS), and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH).
Mr Floyd graduated from Cambridge University in 1985 and completed his medical degree at University College Hospital London in 1988. He followed this with four years of general surgical training, attaining an MSc in wound healing, and eight years of plastic surgery training. He became a consultant in 2002. Mr Floyd has made numerous academic contributions to plastic surgery literature and regularly presents his work at both national and international conferences.
His areas of expertise include cosmetic plastic surgery, hand surgery, and breast surgery. He performs procedures such as liposuction, abdominoplasty, breast augmentation, breast uplift surgery, and breast reduction. Mr Floyd is particularly skilled in complex soft tissue reconstruction. His extensive training and experience make him a leading specialist in his field.
