Dr Claudine De Munter is a highly experienced French-speaking paediatrician and paediatric intensivist, currently serving as a consultant at St Mary's Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, and The Portland Hospital for Women and Children in London. With over 17 years of experience in London and extensive training in Belgium, Dr De Munter offers comprehensive care for a wide range of paediatric conditions.

Dr De Munter's areas of expertise include general paediatric conditions, respiratory, digestive, renal, skin, sleep, growth, and behavioural disorders. She is also proficient in administering immunisations, including BCG, Chicken Pox, Diphtheria/Tetanus/Polio, Hepatitis A and B, Polio, Flu, Menveo, Meningitis B, and Rotavirus vaccinations.

Upon relocating to London, Dr De Munter took on the role of Retrieval Fellow, where she was responsible for transporting critically ill children from district general hospitals across England to the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at St Mary's Hospital. Her familiarity with the English, Belgian, and French healthcare systems allows her to provide a holistic and culturally sensitive approach to medical care, aiding families in adjusting to the English medical system while retaining continental ideals.

Dr De Munter was made a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH) in 1998 and has been a consultant in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit since 1999.
