    Mr Okoye is a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon based in London, specialising in surgery for children up to the age of 16. He is a dedicated member of the NHS team at St George's Hospital in South London. Mr Okoye's extensive training in paediatric surgery has taken him to some of the leading specialist centres, including Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool, Bristol Royal Children’s Hospital, Diana Princess of Wales Children’s Hospital in Birmingham, and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He also holds an MD from the University of Liverpool.

    Mr Okoye performs a comprehensive range of general surgical operations in children, with a particular focus on oncological surgery. He is highly skilled in dealing with cancer and tumours of childhood, managing solid childhood tumours, complex gastrointestinal problems, and paediatric thoracic surgery. His main NHS base, St George's Hospital, in partnership with the Royal Marsden, is one of only two centres in London providing surgery for childhood tumours. Mr Okoye is also very experienced in the use of laparoscopic (keyhole) procedures in children.

    In addition to his clinical work, Mr Okoye is an active member of the British Association of Paediatric Surgeons, where he has served as chair since 2012. He is widely published in peer-reviewed paediatric journals and is committed to training junior surgeons, reflecting his strong interest in medical education.

    Mr Okoye is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and a member of both the British Association of Paediatric Surgeons and the International Paediatric Surgical Oncology Association.
