Mr Ben Caesar is a distinguished Consultant in Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgery, renowned for his expertise in sports injuries surgery to the shoulder and knee, as well as trauma surgery for both the upper and lower limbs. He is currently practising at the Royal Army Medical Corps, where he has been a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon since his appointment.

Mr Caesar completed his medical degree at the prestigious Imperial College School of Medicine. He began his surgical training in Edinburgh and further honed his skills through the esteemed Oswestry training programme in orthopaedics. His commitment to advancing trauma surgery led him to join the Scottish Orthopaedic Research Trust into Trauma (SORT-IT) in Edinburgh. Additionally, he has completed Fellowship training in upper limb, knee, and trauma surgery, solidifying his expertise in these areas.

From 2002 to 2012, Mr Caesar served as a team doctor for the Scottish Rugby Union, providing medical support and expertise to elite athletes. His military career is equally impressive, having been deployed four times in the past decade to various conflict zones, including the evacuation of Kabul.

Mr Caesar's contributions to the field of orthopaedic and trauma surgery are well-documented. He has authored several peer-reviewed papers, contributed chapters to medical textbooks, and presented his research at both National and International conferences.

In his current role, Mr Caesar continues to focus on treating sports injuries and trauma-related conditions, employing advanced surgical techniques to improve patient outcomes. His dedication to his field and his patients is evident in his ongoing commitment to medical research and education.
