Dr Pavlidis is a Consultant Cardiologist at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. He is an Interventional Cardiologist who specialises in the investigation and treatment of coronary artery disease. Dr Pavlidis undertook his training in interventional cardiology at St Thomas' and the London Chest Hospitals.

Dr Pavlidis has a particular interest in complex coronary interventions and the percutaneous treatment of coronary chronic total occlusions. He also consults on a wide range of other conditions including palpitations, valvular heart disease, hypertension, dyslipidaemias, and heart failure.

Actively involved in clinical research, Dr Pavlidis has a specific interest in preventive and interventional cardiology. He completed his PhD thesis on primary dyslipidaemias and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters.

Dr Pavlidis treats a variety of conditions such as chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, and dizziness. He performs a range of medical tests and treatments including ECG, exercise tests, echocardiograms, ECG monitoring, blood pressure monitoring, CT coronary angiograms, and cardiac MRI. His procedural expertise includes coronary angiograms, coronary angioplasty and stent procedures, complex coronary interventions, percutaneous treatment of chronic total occlusions, rotational atherectomy, and intravascular lithotripsy.

Dr Pavlidis has been serving at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust since his appointment, bringing extensive knowledge and expertise to his role.
