About Dr Anna Chapman
GMC number: 4526133
Year qualified: 1998
Place of primary qualification: Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh
Dr Anna Chapman diagnoses and treats all Dermatology conditions. While most people know that Dermatologists treat conditions of the skin, they also treat conditions involving hair, scalp, nails and genitals. Some of these conditions can be embarrassing and cause distress. As an experienced Dermatologist, Dr Chapman has seen all conditions before and will talk you through the condition in a sensitive but matter of fact manner, answering your questions and addressing your concerns.
Dr Anna Chapman is experienced in dermatological surgical procedures such as skin biopsies, surgical removal of lesions, curettage and cryotherapy. She also performs injections for treating hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) and the use of dermal fillers for treating acne pit-marks or scars.
As well as treating adults, Dr Chapman treats infants and children for a broad range of paediatric dermatological conditions. These include birthmarks, neonatal rashes, and other paediatric conditions.
Dr Chapman specialises in allergies which can be highly relevant to many skin conditions. She can advise on allergy testing and how to treat and manage allergies.
Dr Chapman is recognised by all major UK insurers and many international insurers, is registered with the GMC on their specialist register for Dermatology and holds a substantive NHS post.
