Dr Alison Wright is a highly respected consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist, currently serving as Vice President of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. She provides exceptional care for patients within the NHS at the Royal Free Hospital and privately at the Portland Hospital, where she also holds the position of Vice-Chair of the Medical Advisory Committee. Dr Wright has been instrumental in leading efforts to improve personalised care for maternity services within NHS England and NHS Improvement. Additionally, she represents the UK for safe motherhood and newborn health on behalf of the International Federation.

Dr Wright gained her medical qualification in 1990 from the University of Leeds. She has been actively involved in research and has numerous publications in esteemed medical journals. Her areas of expertise include obstetrics, gynaecology, and personalised maternity care. She is passionate about improving healthcare outcomes for women and their families through evidence-based practices and patient education.
